Accessibility statement

We want this site to be usable by everyone who needs to reach us — whether that is a facility manager comparing contractors or someone applying for a job from an older phone.

What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This site has not been independently audited against that standard, so we describe it as partially conformant: the measures below are in place and have been checked internally, and the limitations further down are the parts we know still fall short.

Measures in place

Semantic structure

Every page uses one main heading and a heading hierarchy without skipped levels, so screen readers and assistive technology can navigate the page by structure rather than by guesswork.

Keyboard navigation

All interactive elements — navigation, dropdown menus, forms and the multi-step job application — can be operated with a keyboard, and the focused element is always visibly indicated.

Works without JavaScript

The quote form and the job application are standard HTML forms. They submit and work with JavaScript disabled or blocked; scripts only improve the experience, they are not required to use the site.

Visible form labels

Every form field has a visible label associated with it, never a placeholder used as a label. Error messages state what is wrong and which field it refers to, rather than a generic failure notice.

Text alternatives

Informative images carry descriptive alternative text and decorative images are marked as decorative so they are skipped by screen readers.

Reduced motion

The homepage carousel pauses on hover, touch and keyboard focus, and it does not auto-advance for visitors whose system requests reduced motion.

Responsive and zoomable

Layouts adapt from small phones to large displays, text can be enlarged without content being cut off, and form fields use a text size that does not trigger unwanted zoom on mobile.

Both languages

Pages declare their language, and Spanish pages are written in Spanish rather than machine-translated, so screen readers pronounce them correctly.

Known limitations

We would rather list these than leave someone to discover them.

Third-party content

An interactive map and a chat assistant are planned for this site. Both are provided by third parties, and we do not control their accessibility. When they are added we will state what they support and keep a non-map, non-chat route to the same information — the address in text and a phone number.

Some photographs on this site are supplied by the business and carry general descriptions. We are working through them to make alternative text more specific.

Video content is not yet published on this site. When it is, it will carry captions.

No formal audit yet
